The "Great Flood"

1656 AM = 2348 BC 1554 AM

2348 BC

Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: Jasher 2:1 And it was in the hundred and thirtieth year of the life of Adam upon the earth, that he again knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bare a son in his likeness and in his image, and she called his name Seth. Jasher 3.14 And it was in the fifty-sixth year of the life of Lamech when Adam died; nine hundred and thirty years old was he at his death.

*1 In Jasher Lamech was born 774 AM and in the Bible 874 AM (930-56=874), a difference of 100 years

Genesis 5:6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: Jasher 2:2 And Seth lived one hundred and five years, and he begat a son; and Seth called the name of his son Enosh. Jasher 4:9 In those days when Lamech the son of Methuselah was one hundred and sixty years old, Seth the son of Adam died. 10 And all the days that Seth lived, were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.

*2  In Jasher Lamech was born 774 AM and in the Bible 882 AM (1042-160=882), a difference of 108 years.

Genesis 5:9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan: Jasher 2:10 And Enosh lived ninety years and he begat Cainan. Jasher 5:1 And it was in the  eighty-fourth year of the life of Noah, that Enoch the son of Seth died, he was nine hundred and five years old at his death.

*3 In Jasher Noah was born 954 AM and in the Bible 1056 AM (1140-84=1054), a difference of 102 (-2) years, total 100 years.

Genesis 5:12 And Cainan lived seventy years and begat Mahalaleel: Jasher 2:15 And when Cainan was seventy years old, he begat three sons and two daughters. Jas: 2.16 The name of the first born Mahlallel, the second Enan, and the third Mered, and their sisters were Adah and Zillah; these are the five children of Cainan that were born to him. Jasher 2.14 He ruled over the whole Earth, and he turned some of the sons of men to the service of God. Jasher 5:2 And in the one hundred and seventy ninth year of the life of Noah, Cainan the son of Enosh died, and all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

*4 In Jasher Noah was born 954 AM and in the Bible 1056 AM (1235-179=1056), a difference of 102 years.

Genesis 5:15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared: Jasher 2:37 And Mahlallel the son of Cainan lived sixty-five years and he begat Jared; Jasher 5:3 And in the two hundred and thirty fourth year of the life of Noah, Mahlallel the son of Cainan died, and the days of Mahlallel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.

*5 In Jasher Noah was born 954 AM and in the Bible 1056 AM (1290-234=1056), a difference of 102 years.

Genesis 5:18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: Jasher 2:37 and Jared lived sixty-two years and he begat Enoch. Jasher 5:4 And Jared the son of Mahlallel died in those days, in the three hundred and thirty-sixth year of the life of Noah; and all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.

*6 In Jasher Noah was born 954 AM and in the Bible 1056 AM (1422-336=1086), a difference of 102 (+30) years, total 132 years.

Genesis 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: Jasher 3:1 And Enoch lived sixty-five years and he begat Methuselah. Jasher: 4.1 And all the days that Enoch lived upon earth, were three hundred and sixty-five years. Jasher 3:3 And it was at the expiration of many years, whilst he was serving the Lord, and praying before him in his house, that an angel of the Lord called to him from Heaven, and he said, Here am I. Jasher 3:12 And Enoch reigned over the sons of men two hundred and forty-three years, and he did justice and righteousness with all his people, and he led them in the ways of the Lord. Jasher 3:17 And it was in the year of Adam's death which was the two hundred and forty-third year of the reign of Enoch, in that time Enoch resolved to separate himself from the sons of men and to secret himself as at first in order to serve the Lord.

*7 In The Second Book of Adam and Eve (chapter 21) we can read that Enoch was present at the burial of his father Jared. When Jared died Enoch was already 900 years old, so the lifetime of Enoch on Earth as mentioned in the Bible (365) is wrong. Enoch died 14 years after Jared's dead, so Enoch's total lifetime was 914 years. (for more details see chapter 4) In Jasher Enoch was born 522 AM and in the Bible 622 AM , a difference of 100 years.

Genesis 5:25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech. Jasher 3:13 And these are the generations of Enoch, Methuselah, Elisha, and Elimelech, three sons; and their sisters were Melca and Nahmah, and Methuselah lived eighty-seven years and he begat Lamech. Jasher 5:36 And it was at that time Methuselah the son of Enoch died, nine hundred and sixty years old was he, at his death.

*8 In Jasher Methuselah was 87 years old when Lamech was born, if that is correct we have a problem with his year of dead because in that case he would have survived the "Great Flood" with 93 years (1547-1454). The conclusion can be made that the Biblical year by firstborn son of 187 years is correct.  In Jasher Methuselah  was born 587 AM and in the Bible 687 AM, a difference of 100 years.

Genesis 5:28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son (Noah): Jasher 4:11 And Lamech was one hundred and eighty years old when he took Ashmua, the daughter of Elishaa the son of Enoch his uncle, and she conceived. Jasher 4:13 And the wife of Lamech conceived and bare him a son at that time, at the revolution of the year. Jasher 4:14 And Methuselah called his name Noah, saying, The earth was in his days at rest and free from corruption, and Lamech his father called his name Menachem, saying, This one shall comfort us in our works and miserable toil in the earth, which God had cursed. Jasher 5:19 And Lamech the father of Noah, died in those days; yet verily he did not go with all his heart in the ways of his father, and he died in the hundred and ninety-fifth year of the life of Noah. 20 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy years, and he died.

*9 In Jasher Noah was born 954 AM and in the Bible 1056 AM (1544-195=1349), a difference of 102 (+293) years, total 395 years.

Genesis 7:6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

The "Great Flood" took place in the six hundredth year of Noah.

Jasher 5:5 And all who followed the Lord died in those days, before they saw the evil which God declared to do upon earth. 6 And after the lapse of many years, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the life of Noah, when all those men, who followed the Lord had died away from amongst the sons of men, and only Methuselah was then left. Jasher: 5.8 For thus saith the Lord, Behold I give you a period of one hundred and twenty years; if you will turn to me and forsake your evil ways, then will I also turn away from the evil which I told you, and it shall not exist, saith the Lord.

*10 Lamech died 10 years before the "Great Flood".

Genesis 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Genesis 9:29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. Jasher 5:18 And Noah was five hundred and two years old when Naamah bare Shem, and the boys grew up and went in the ways of the Lord, in all that Methuselah and Noah their father taught them. Jasher 5:34 In his five hundred and ninety-fifth year Noah commenced to make the ark, and he made the ark in five years, as the Lord had commanded.

Genesis 11:10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: Jasher 28:24 And it came to pass in those days, in the hundred and tenth year of the life of Isaac, that is in the fiftieth year of the life of Jacob, in that year died Shem the son of Noah; Shem was six hundred years old at his death.

*1 In acc. to the Sumerian King list Adam ruled for 162,000 years, when we divide it with 36 we come to a rule time of 4,500 years. When we compare this with the Biblical lifetime of Adam his Creation should have taken place in 7,504 BC (3074+4500) and NOT in 4004 BC (the Jewish date of Creation). The time Adam and Eve lived in the :Garden of Eden" than must have been 7504-4004 = 3,500 Biblical years and 126,000 Sumerian years. The attended reader has already seen that there is a difference between the Biblical, 1,000 years (Aeon?) and the Sumerian 36,000 years. (see later chapter 12)

See Jubilees Chapter 8: In the twenty-ninth jubilee, in the first week, (1373 AM) in the beginning thereof Arpachshad took to himself a wife and her name was Rasu'eja, the daughter of Susan, the daughter of Elam, and she bare him a son in the third year in this week, (1375 AM) and he called his name Kainam. And the son grew, and his father taught him writing, and he went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for himself a city. And he found a writing which former (generations) had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers in accordance with which they used to observe the omens of the sun and moon and stars in all the signs of heaven. And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it. And in the thirtieth jubilee, in the second week, in the first year thereof (1429 AM), he took to himself a wife, and her name was Melka, the daughter of Madai, the son of Japheth, and in the fourth year (1432 AM) he begat a son, and called his name Shelah; for he said: 'Truly I have been sent.' (And in the fourth year he was born), and Shelah grew up and took to himself a wife, and her name was Mu'ak, the daughter of Kesed, his father's brother, in the one and thirtieth jubilee, in the fifth week, in the first year (1499 AM) thereof.

)1 In the book of Jasher Esau is murdered by a son of Dan but in the book of Jubilees Esau is murdered by his brother Jacob. The Bible do not mention the dead of Esau.

The Revised Timeline  match exactly with the story, in years and lifetime, mentioned in the book of Jasher when we insert Cainam, who is only mentioned in Jubilees 8. In the conventional "Biblical timeline" of Archbishop James Ussher there is a decreased difference of 60 years. (in fact 58 years because he used two times 1 year when calculating the year in which Terah and Serug died). With other words "the fifteenth years = not +15 but +14 years and "the thirty-fifth year" = not 35 but 34 years.

)2 Jasher: 27.15 And when Nimrod the son of Cush died, his men lifted him up and brought him in consternation, and buried him in his city, and all the days that Nimrod lived were two hundred and fifteen years and he died. 16 And the days that Nimrod reigned upon the people of the land were one hundred and eighty-five years; and Nimrod died by the sword of Esau in shame and contempt, and the seed of Abraham caused his death as he had seen in his dream. When we calculate the year of Nimrod's dead we know that Esau was 15 years old when he murdered Nimrod, Esau was born in 1838 and Nimrod was 215 years when he died. A simple calculation brings us tot the year of his dead as 1838-15=1823 BC. Nimrod was thus born in 1823+215 = 2038 BC. He was king from 2008 to 1823 BC. (2038-30).

In Jubilees 1 we can read: And it came to pass in the first year of the exodus of the children of Israel out of Egypt, in the third month, on the sixteenth day of the month, (2450 Anno Mundi) that God spake to Moses, saying: 'Come up to Me on the Mount, and I will give thee two tables of stone of the law and of the commandment, which I have written, that thou mayst teach them.'

When calculating the date BC we get 4004-2450-102=1452 BC.
