Got into the series from History chennel on Ancient Aliens, I believe that many of the truths they uncovered are just so obvious now that I have seen them. Why do others still refuse to consider the therory is so close minded, sad. How can we ever move forward if we refuse to see how we got here?

thanks for the information. i am studying the bible to go into missionary work. i too grew up in a religious family. but left church after school because i did not understand things from religion or school and how they tied together. i also knew that there had to be links between religion and history. since turning back to god 10 years ago, i have been trying to learn a non religious form of christianity. i have found churches that teach some of this. but there are still unanswered questions. i have found many of them here and will be reading this more thoroughly. it is recommended for anyone going into ministry. while jesus is the way to god, we need to know more thoroughly how we got to where we were in the new testament and where we are today. many mistakes were made in history because we did not know history. because we forget history or just do not know, we are vulnerable to falling for ideas that are for greed, self intentions, or just misguided. the church is to be the body of christ, for the glory of god. not for personal gain.

I'm a graduate student in Education and History looking for the truth(s) in History. Right now, I'm looking at the migration of Israel and Assyria from the Ancient Middle East to Europe.

I love this website. I find it very interesting and informative. I am interested in learning the truth about the history of humanity, because I have never really believed all that is taught to us in school to be the truth... Keep up the good study and work!

Unfortunately,I must say that reading the text fills me with distaste. It is utter nonsens and lack of knowledge.

Great site. I found it after getting an unexpected infatuation with ancient Sumer last summer (2010). I also have this fixation on ancient Canaan and I was wondering if you will be building a section on the Canaanite mythologies. There is some interesting stuff there to be found, I guarentee. :)
